Public Awareness Activities:
     • Participate in upcoming booths and fairs
     • Work on developing some mini-fundraisers
     • Distribute PCA brochures at local agencies and Doctor’s offices
     • Display Report Child Abuse Banner during the month of April
     • Have council members attend the PCAIN Breaking the Cycle Conference
     • Report Child Abuse posters are still located in bus stations
     • Send press releases to newspapers concerning child abuse and neglect
     • Attend regional PCAIN meetings
     • Bring in Sgt. Terry Hall to talk about preventing sexual abuse in young children and bring other speakers to provide workshops in the Madison County area. Work on getting Body Safety Programs in the school in Madison County. Completed Alexandria and Elwood in 2011.
     • Bring in speakers to each meeting to talk about how to create a safe environment for young children and to learn about programs in the community
     • Hand out the Teen Yellow Pages booklet to teens. Created it in Spanish and English
     • Participate in the Bids for Kids TV auction on April 27th and 28th to promote Child Abuse Prevention
