- Lunch & Learn Meetings with other child related organizations to provide new information to all. This also is a way of recognizing the work they do and gives them a chance to talk, to relax, interact and also share information with our council.

- Participate in a county-wide festival for families each April. In 2010 our booth theme was based on the State theme of “Good Fathers” – gave out pinwheels and had coloring sheets for children and helped them make pinwheels with their fathers and other parents. There are approximately 500 children that participate in this with their parents and grandparents each year. It is a good way to be visible, answer questions and share prevention/parenting information with families.
