During the month of April CAPS holds a public Children’s Service of Hope and a public education event relating to child abuse prevention. A county-wide Lifesaver Campaign has been held since 1983. CAPS provide six programs on an ongoing basis: Parenting Classes and Support Groups, Healthy Families, Supervised Visits, Building Blocks Laboratory Preschool, Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA), and Child & Family Advocacy Center (CFAC). CAPS also serves as a managing partner for a community collaboration focusing on promoting early learning (Families First).

Meetings are held the 3rd Wednesday monthly (except July & November).
