• Prevent Child Abuse Decatur County council meets on the second Thursday monthly to plan and implement activities to increase awareness and education to prevent child abuse.
• Most activities are focused on the month of April, which is designated as “Prevent Child Abuse Month”.
• The council also coordinates activities with other organizations within the county and the region to host speakers and raise funds.

Meetings are held the 2nd Thursday each month.
