Prevent Child Abuse Ripley County

MISSION: To promote education, awareness and to provide resources and support to maintain a healthy family.

MEETINGS: Every third Thursday of the month

Each year we have a list of special events that take place in order to follow our mission.  Events include:
  • Our Annual Meeting (scheduled this year for Monday, January 11 at 5:00 p.m. at the Child Advocacy Center at 12211 Rullman Drive in Dillsboro Indiana).
  • April (National Child Abuse Awareness Month) features awareness displays at our local courthouse as well as pinwheel displays throughout the county.
  • In the summer months we volunteer at several community festivals and the County Fair.
  • In September we take part in the local pumpkin show parade.
As a Council we would not be able to complete all these activities were it not for the volunteers within our community.  We are always seeking more volunteers to spread the word of preventing child abuse and maintaining healthy families, not only within Ripley County but throughout our state and nation.
Would you like to join us?  Contact Angela Kinker at pca_ripley@yahoo.com or at 812-212-4320.
